Sports and recreation
The University College provides a wide range of sporting activities in a bid to promote student holistic wellbeing, recreation, healthy competition, team work, talent identification and development, and social cohesion. Intra-university, inter-university and other sporting opportunities are provided to the students.
Sports Section
The Sports Section at Mama Ngina University College (MNUC), is dedicated to provide & promote inclusive opportunities for students and staff to participate in competitive and recreational sporting activities that enhance physical fitness, mental wellbeing, teamwork, leadership, discipline, talent development & social cohesion.
MNUC actively participates in intra-university, inter-university, national & regional competitions thus providing student-athletes with opportunities to excel & represent the University College.

Achievements
Our teams have consistently represented MNUC in Kenya Universities Sports Federation (KUSF) competitions, achieving notable success across various disciplines. The Women’s Darts Team qualified for the 14th East Africa University Games (EAUG 2026) following an outstanding performance at the KUSF National Play-Offs.
